On capitalism

Capitalism is a run away theory that is built literally on the premise of a pyramid scheme. Globalization and free trade on the other hand is different. Capitalism in its essence is evil because it allows workers to be exploited. Does that mean communism is the answer? Not necessarily. Obviously socialism and communism are failed institutions, and learning from that we could decipher that MAN himself is the problem, or rather what's within man, like greed for instance. But capitalism and corporatism go hand in hand. I think what you meant to say was globalism and free trade ideologies. Those are fine insofar as the trading is fair. But when you start to make money off the backs of low paid workers while you get paid crazy amounts for doing nothing but founding a business THEN we're getting into the evils of oppression and exploitation, which is corporate slavery, and frankly capitalism fosters that mentality. As far as Tech wearing corporate brands and being hypocritical, I agree with you. I've long thought Tech was a low key leech hypocrite preaching against the system while simultaneously enjoying its fruits.

Furthermore the capitalist model not only exploits human being in oppressive and inhumane ways it very much ruins the natural world. A rudimentary study of material goods production would tell you that humans are drastically effecting the earth's landscape and robbing her of natural resources that even we ourselves need to survive. Not to mention killing off animal species every year.
